The Inspiration — Suzie’s Garden
This collection was inspired by Suzie’s magical garden in the Constantia Valley in Cape Town — a boutique flower haven I escape to a few times each year. Suzie, my twin sister and constant muse, has created a breathtaking space overflowing with colour, where rows of magnificent dahlias bloom in every imaginable shade. I often spend quiet hours there helping to tend the flowers, cutting stems and wandering through the garden paths, surrounded by petals, bees and soft summer light.The dolls in this range reflect that gentle, joyful place — their colours, fabrics and tiny details echoing the richness and romance of a garden in full bloom. Each doll carries a little of that garden magic with her. 🌸

From my studio in Auckland, New Zealand, I create one-of-a-kind heirloom cloth dolls and toys using a carefully curated blend of luxury textiles and thoughtfully sourced vintage and upcycled fabrics. Each doll is entirely handmade and emerges slowly through an intuitive creative process, allowing its own unique personality to unfold.
